Your first 20 minutes

You can get from a cold start to a finished draft in one sitting. This is the shortest path through, using a conversation you already have rather than waiting for a new one.

Start with your profile

Everything the app writes is written against your profile. Filling it in first is what separates a draft that sounds like you from one that sounds like anybody. Select Profile from your dashboard.

   Open Profile and read what is there. Change anything that is wrong or thin, and save it.

   Add a piece of your own writing if you have one to hand. It gives the app something real to match rather than a description of your style.

Bring in one conversation

Use something you already have. A transcript from a call, an interview, a podcast, anything where you talked for a while about what you do.

   Select Create in the sidebar. The page opens on Start with your source.

   Select Get started on Upload Transcript, then paste the text in or upload the file.

   Wait while the app reads it. It picks out the points worth saying again and sorts them into ideas.

Read your ideas

What comes back is grouped by the kind of content each idea suits, with a count on each group. Each idea carries two badges reading TOF and BOF out of 10, for how likely it is to get attention and how likely it is to move someone to act.

Read them before you generate anything. Picking a good idea matters more than editing a draft of a weak one.

Generate one piece

   Select Generate on the idea you want. The page that opens is headed Choose a Format.

   Select the format you want. You are offered the ones that suit the group the idea came from.

   Read what comes back and edit it. Your changes are kept as you make them.

Where to go next

Once one conversation has been through, the rest is more of the same. Connect the places your calls come from so they arrive on their own, or schedule what you have written against your social accounts.
