Use Brain Dump on your phone

Ideas turn up while you are walking, driving or between meetings. Your phone is the thing you have on you, and your capture link works on it without installing anything and without signing in.

Get your link onto your phone

   On the computer where you work, select Inbox in the sidebar, then Brain dump links.

   Select the copy control beside Your capture link.

   Send the link to yourself however suits you, so it is waiting on your phone.

Use it

   Open your phone browser and paste the link in.

   You get a page headed Brain Dump. Select Start Dictation and speak, or type into the box.

   Select Extract Content. The page shows Captured, and what you said goes to your Inbox, where ideas are pulled out of it.

Why there is nothing to install

The link is the whole thing. There is no app to download, no account to set up on the device, and no signing in. That is what makes it work on a borrowed phone, or on your own with the app nowhere in sight.
