Put Brain Dump on your phone

Ideas turn up while you are walking, driving or between meetings. Brain Dump can sit on your phone like any other app, so getting a thought down takes a tap rather than a hunt through a browser.

There is nothing to download. You add the page itself to your home screen, and it opens on its own, without the browser bars around it.

Before you start

Get your capture link first, from a computer or wherever you normally work. Select Inbox in the sidebar, then Brain dump links, then the copy control beside Your capture link. Send that link to your phone however suits you, and open it there.

On iPhone

   Open Brain Dump in Safari and sign in.

   Select the share control at the bottom of the screen.

   Select Add to Home Screen, then Add.

On Android

   Open Brain Dump in Chrome and sign in.

   Select the menu control at the top right.

   Select Add to Home screen, then confirm.

What you get

The icon reads Brain Dump. Opening it goes straight to the capture screen rather than to your dashboard, and it fills the screen like an installed app.
