Connect your social accounts

The app publishes to LinkedIn for you. Every other platform is a label: you pick it so the post is tagged and easy to find, and you post there yourself.

Connect LinkedIn

   Open Settings, then select the Social Connections tab.

   Select Connect on the platform you want. LinkedIn opens its own sign-in page.

   Sign in to LinkedIn and allow access. You return to Settings, and the account moves up under the heading CONNECTED with the word Connected beneath your name.

What each platform does

The page groups platforms by what they can actually do. Only the first group publishes.

Keep LinkedIn working

LinkedIn access runs out every 60 days. This is a LinkedIn rule and it applies to every app that posts on your behalf, so it is not something the app can extend.

   When access has run out, open Settings, then Social Connections, and select Reconnect — LinkedIn access expires every 60 days.

   Sign in to LinkedIn again. Scheduled posts waiting to go out will publish as normal once access is back.

Good to know

If something goes wrong

If a post did not go out, check this page first. An account whose access has run out shows the reconnect link, and reconnecting is usually all that is needed.

If the account still shows as connected and posts are still failing, open Schedule, select Failed above the list, and rest the pointer on the platform icon in the row. It names the platform that failed, in the form LinkedIn: failed.
