The five content formats
What each of the five formats produces, so you can pick the right one for the piece you want to make.
Available on All plans
An idea is not a finished piece. When you turn one into content, you choose the shape you want it in, and the app writes to that shape. There are five formats in all, and each idea is offered the ones that suit its length.
The five formats
What each one gives you
- Written Posts
- LinkedIn and social media posts
- Short-Form Videos
- Short-form video scripts
- Long-Form Videos
- Long-form video scripts and outlines
- Long-Form Written
- Articles, emails and blog posts
- Microcontent
- Short hooks, captions and micro-content
Picking between them
The split is about length and where the piece is going to be read or watched. Written Posts and Microcontent are for the feed, one at post length and one at a line or two. Long-Form Written is for a reader who has committed time. The two video formats are scripts rather than finished video, so what you get is words to say, not a file to upload.
Where what you make ends up
Every format keeps its own card in your Library, and each card counts what you have made in that format. Nothing is thrown away, so you can go back to any piece later.
