What each platform allows

You can pick seven platforms on a post, but they do not all do the same thing. One publishes for you. The rest label the post so you can track it, and you publish there yourself.

The platform that publishes for you

LinkedIn is the only one. When you pick it, the composer says LinkedIn auto-publishes, and the post goes out at the time you set without you doing anything else.

Platforms you can connect, that still only label

Facebook, Instagram and Threads each have a Connect button, and they sit under the heading LABEL ONLY — TAG IT, POST THERE YOURSELF. Connecting one does not send your post. It labels it so you can find it and keep track of what you meant to publish where.

Platforms that only label

TikTok, X and YouTube Shorts show Tag · label only and have no Connect button at all. Pick them on a post to tag it, then publish there yourself.

What a label actually does

A label puts the platform on the post, so the post shows that platform in your list and can be found with the filters above it. Rest the pointer on a filter and it names the platform, in the form Filter by LinkedIn.
